FRAMOS is looking for an Image Quality Engineer to join our growing team in Čakovec. In this role, you will help optimize, analyze and validate the performance of our camera modules – from image sensor and lens to final image output.
You will collaborate closely with optical specialists, software and hardware engineers, while gaining knowledge of optics, image sensors, ISP tuning, and data analytics.
This is an ideal opportunity for recent graduates and young engineers seeking hands-on experience in optics, imaging, and embedded engineering. Your work will directly influence the image quality that enables our customer’s devices to see and interpret the world.

You will start with clear tasks such as:
- Running tests that help us understand how optics behave in our camera modules - “lens and module onboarding”
- Evaluating basic image quality parameters like sharpness (MTF), colour reproduction, noise reduction, and auto white balance.
- Learning how to configure optical equipment such as light sources, collimators, geometric calibration devices, etc.
- Assessing effects of mechanical tolerances and environmental conditions on our products
- Supporting automatization processes that will help produce our camera modules with highest quality
- Using Python and SQL (or learning them gradually) to analyze and optimize product quality and perform root cause analysis
