Our largest team is based in Čakovec, Croatia, where we have our brand-new FRAMOS Campus, featuring state-of-the-art laboratories and manufacturing facilities. 
As a Junior Hardware Engineer (m/f/d), you will join an experienced and supportive growing engineering team, where you’ll learn by doing, contribute to real products, and gradually take on more responsibility as your skills develop. 


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • You will support the design and development of hardware components under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • You will assist in creating electrical schematics and PCB layouts using Altium Designer.
  • You will help ensure that hardware designs comply with EMC and Safety Standards.
  • You will support the development of devices according to IPC guidelines and DFX principles.
  • You will assist in preparing documentation for PCB production and coordinate with manufacturers and assemblers.
  • You will participate in defining and executing test procedures for hardware prototypes and final devices.
  • You will collaborate closely with hardware, software, and firmware engineers in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • You will contribute ideas, ask questions, and continuously develop your technical knowledge and skills.

YOUR PROFILE

  • You have a completedhigher or first-level educationin electronics, electrical engineering, or a related hardware-focused field.
  • You have a foundational understanding of electronic circuits and PCB design (academic knowledge is required, internship experience here would be beneficial).
  • You are familiar with multi-layer PCB concepts and electronic components.
  • You have basic experience or exposure to laboratory instrumentation.
  • You are motivated, eager to learn, and take a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • You enjoy working in a team, communicate openly, and value collaboration and feedback.
  • You approach challenges with a structured and logical mindset.
  • Knowledge of SolidWorks is considered a plus.
  • You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
