Our largest engineering team is based in Čakovec, Croatia, where we have recently opened our brand-new FRAMOS Campus with state-of-the-art laboratories and manufacturing facilities. 
As a Hardware Development Engineer (m/f/d), you will collaborate with an experienced team to develop innovative hardware solutions using cutting-edge technologies.
The role is designed as a hybrid position, welcoming candidates from Čakovec, the surrounding region, or Zagreb who value both focused individual work and in-person collaboration.


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES 
  • You will design hardware, develop architecture, select electronic components, and create electrical schematics and PCBs using Altium Designer tools.
  • You will ensure that devices comply with EMC and Safety Standards.
  • You will develop devices according to IPC guidelines for DFX (Design for Excellence).
  • You will prepare documentation for PCB production and coordinate with manufacturers and assemblers to ensure high-quality production.
  • You will define and implement test procedures for hardware prototype verification and final device testing.
  • You will work in a multidisciplinary team, contribute to the overall device concept, and support software engineers in firmware and software development.
 

YOUR PROFILE

  • You have gained experience in developing electronic circuitspreferably fine-pitch designs (BGA, etc.).
  • You understand multi-layer PCB design.
  • You have higher or first-level training with a focus on hardware (facultymaster's degreeor doctorate).
  • You have knowledge of laboratory instrumentation.
  • You are flexible, eager to learn, and take a proactive approach.
  • You work well in a team, express your ideas openly, and respect different perspectives.
  • You think clearly and solve problems effectively.
  • You preferably have knowledge of SolidWorks.
  • You are fluent in English, both spoken and written.
