We are looking for a Controlling Business Partner to join our team in Čakovec, Croatia and play a central role in driving financial transparency and performance across the company. In this role, you will combine financial expertise with a strong business perspective to deliver insights, improve processes, and support company-wide initiatives.
WHAT WILL YOU DO:
- Act as a strategic finance partner for operations and help us turn numbers into decisions that advance the business
- Build and continuously improve production controlling standards across the organization
- Manage machine hour rates and labor cost calculations, including maintenance and reconciliation with cost center accounting based on capacity and cost structures
- Deliver high-quality financial reporting, including performance analysis, forecasts, and variance analysis that enable fast and informed decisions
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, partnering with business leaders to build realistic plans and challenge assumptions
- Identify cost drivers and lead cost optimization initiatives, tracking impact while maintaining quality and operational efficiency
- Define, implement, and track KPIs and performance benchmarks in close collaboration with leadership, translating results into actionable improvements
- Collaborate with departments such as Sales, Marketing, and HR to support key initiatives, investments, and cross-functional projects
- Develop and roll out guidelines, process documentation, and training materials to ensure consistent adoption of controlling standards
