ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you an experienced professional in finance and accounting, with a keen interest in technology?
We are FRAMOS, a global high-tech company of over 180 employees, with our biggest team based in Croatia. We are looking for a motivated accountant to join our team and oversee all general accounting processes and procedures. This includes analyzing and preparing financial documents and reports, keeping track of the money coming in and going out, and making sure all our business transactions are properly entered in our financial and tax records.
You will report to the Accounting manager and work in an international team of 8 people. Your responsibilities will include:
The role is full-time and permanent; after the onboarding period in our Zagreb or Čakovec office, it can be a fully remote role (based in Croatia).

This includes analyzing and preparing financial documents and reports, keeping track of the money coming in and going out, and making sure all our business transactions are properly entered in our financial and tax records.
You will report to the Accounting manager and work in an international team of 8 people. Your responsibilities will include:
- You will work on reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining the general ledger, and preparing month-end and year-end close procedures
- You will produce error-free accounting reports and present their results
- You will manage the approval process, including circulation of invoices/statements to managers for budgetary approvals
- You will be preparing wire transfers, or direct payment of credit card statements, and ensuring that such payments have the required approvals
- You will be responsible for the monthly and yearly closing process
- You will lead and respond to inquiries for the annual external audit
- You will ensure a good flow of information to other departments in a proactive manner, including providing regular and ad hoc financial reporting as requested
- You will be responsible for tax audits and tax returns
- You will implement and enforce financial controls and cash flow
