Warehouse & Logistics Lead (m/f/d)

ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you experienced in logistics and warehouse management, interested in technology, and looking for a new challenge?

We are FRAMOS, a global high-tech company with over 180 employees. Our biggest team is based in Čakovec, where we are moving our current warehouse located in Germany to a new campus building from September onwards. 

Reporting to the Operations Manager based in Germany, you will oversee and manage all warehouse and logistics operations in EMEA.  In this newly created role, you will be a team lead for a Warehouse Specialist, also based in Čakovec.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You will oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, such as receiving, storage, order fulfillment and shipping.
  • You will ensure efficient space utilization and intralogistics.
  • You will implement and maintain systems to track and manage stock levels.
  • You will develop and enforce procedures to enhance efficiency and safety.
  • You will coordinate logistics activities for the timely delivery of products to customers and the production team.
  • You will handle relationships with freight carriers, negotiate contracts, and monitor performance.
  • You will optimize transportation routes and methods to minimize costs and improve delivery times.
  • You will train, supervise, and evaluate warehouse staff, promoting a positive work environment.
  • You will foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and high levels of staff engagement.
  • You will ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • You will ensure compliance with customs and export control.
  • You will analyze processes and implement lean methodologies for efficiency.
The role is based in Čakovec, with a 4-week training in Germany at the start of the onboarding process.
YOUR PROFILE
  • You have several years of experience in warehouse and logistics management, preferably working with electronics
  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • You are proficient in ERP systems and logistics software.
  • You have a knowledge of inventory control principles and practices.
  • You are familiar with import and export declarations.
  • You are fluent in English and Croatian.
